This week took us to the heart of Glen Ellyn for a dinner at Fire + Wine, and let us just say… WOW. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. ✨ 🕯️

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with twinkling lights, cozy booths, and that perfect mix of modern charm and rustic comfort. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed, whether you're out for a romantic dinner or catching up with friends over cocktails. And let's talk about those drinks! 🍸🍊 From an elevated Old Fashioned to a refreshing iced tea cocktail to a vibrant berry martini, their bartenders know what they're doing. Every sip felt like a little celebration.

The Veal Parmesan with linguine Alfredo was a classic comfort dish done right, perfectly crispy, cheesy, and so satisfying. The grilled chicken with veggies felt fresh and flavorful, and the salmon salad was bright, crisp, and beautifully cooked. We also tried the chicken piccata, and let's just say, it was a citrusy, caper-loaded masterpiece.

Every plate was packed with flavor, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. We loved how the atmosphere invited us to stay a while, sip our drinks slowly, and just enjoy.

Fire + Wine is officially on our must-return list! A great spot for celebrations, low-key date nights, or just when you're in the mood to treat yourself to something delicious.
